Who We Are

The Fabbri Company of Bologna, Italy started with humble origins in 1905 by Gennaro Fabbri and his wife Rachele. The story begins with a local, wild black cherry. Once picked, Rachele Fabbri slowly cooked these cherries in copper pots to transform them into the wonderfully delicious treat that became known as the Amarena Fabbri.

Now in it's fifth generation as a family owned business, Fabbri is known worldwide as a leader in the industry and continues to create unique and innovative products to prepare world-class gelato, beverages and desserts.

Fabbri USA

Fabbri USA is a subsidiary of Fabbri/Bologna with offices and warehouse located in New York City. It also maintain a complete on site technical and training center offering Fabbri Master Classes and recipe assistance.

Fabbri Area Managers are strategically located through out the United States and are upon request available for on site training and support.

Additionally, Fabbri USA has an established a network of distributors who provide product, service and support to the end user client. Fabbri Master classes are also conducted at select distributor locations at various times.

GLUTEN-FREE

What is celiac disease? It is a permanent intolerance to gluten. Gluten is a protein contained in wheat and some other grains, such as farro, barley, rye, oat, Khorasan wheat, spelt, triticale, bulgur wheat, malt, grünkern and seitan.

To allow subjects with celiac disease to lead a serene, healthy life, Fabbri 1905 experiments and learns, together with its clients, how to cook healthy food without giving up taste and fantasy. In fact, several of its products studied and designed for people with celiac disease are certified by AIC (Italian Association of Celiac Disease) and published in its vade-mecum.

LACTOSE-FREE

Lactose intolerance is the inability to digest lactose, the main disaccharide contained in milk and dairy products. The incidence of this condition has been increasing in recent years, but lactose-intolerant people still have difficulty finding products they can consume.

In order to be able to meet its clients' needs, Fabbri 1905 is committed to researching and developing products that take these food issues into consideration. Today it offers 248 products specifically created for lactose-intolerant people.
